Connecting Your Phone
Follow these three steps to connect your device:
- Find the QR Code on the Machine: Look for the QR code icon in the bottom-left corner of the karaoke machine's screen. If you don't see it, you may need to tap the screen to show the controls.
- Scan the Code with Your Phone: Open the camera app on your mobile device and point it at the QR code on the karaoke machine's screen. Your phone should automatically recognize it.
- Join the Session: A notification will pop up on your phone. Tap this notification to open a web page. On this page, press the "Join Session" button to connect.
Using the Web Remote
Once your phone is connected, you can:
- Search the Songbook: Browse or search for any song in the karaoke library.
- Manage the Queue: Add your favorite songs to the waiting list.
- View Synced Lyrics: Follow along with the lyrics directly on your device.
- Control the Player: Play, pause, or skip songs for the group.
Troubleshooting
- The QR code isn't scanning: Make sure your phone's camera lens is clean and that there is enough light in the room. Try moving your phone closer to or further from the screen.
- The notification didn't appear: Most modern phones support QR code scanning directly from the camera. If yours does not, you may need to download a free QR code scanner app from your phone's app store.
